Classroom Escape Room: cryptography in VR
Classroom Escape Room — a MURGILDU jam prototype. Can you crack the code and find your way out? MURGILDU took part in the Godot XR Game Jam — September 2026 with Classroom Escape Room, a small educational VR prototype built in Godot.
The idea is simple: explore a professor’s office, follow clues, and use interactive machines to recover an encrypted code. The machines handle the calculations; your challenge is to work out what comes next. It’s an introduction to RSA cryptography through exploration and puzzles.
Urko Mungia led the project and carried out most of the development, with mentoring from Inigo Lopez-Gazpio and an original cryptography idea from Andoni Mujika.
